Brazil Imports, Inc. purchases rough gemstones, pre-forms, manufacturers, merchandises, and distributes loose gemstones and stone-set jewelry for wholesalers and retailers throughout the United States. Until 1998, the company had operated for 16 years exclusively selling loose gemstones in the United States. In 1998, Brazil Imports, Inc. expanded its operations into the manufacturing and marketing of stone-set jewelry in the United States. Brazil Imports, Inc has a strong and experienced management team with over 20 years of gemstone and jewelry experience. Luiz Nogueira is the company's President and Treasurer and has led the company for the last 18 years. Laercio Albuquerque Jr. ( Al ), Vice President, has been with Brazil Imports, Inc. since 1991. Prior to joining the company, he served as a Chief Operation Engineer at a copper mine for five years and also worked as a stone buyer for B.E.Gems both in Brazil. Additionally, both have helped several jewelry companies with their expertise in promoting new commercial gemstones in the United States.
